They did it! The Twins have won the AL Central! After being 7 games back from Detroit a month ago, they managed to survive the rest of September and force a 1 game playoff deciding the AL Central. After 12 inning of 4-4 baseball the Tigers hung in strong, scoring runs but the Twins kept truckin' on. Carlos Gomez scored the winning run in the 12th inning. Congratulations!
